Boots and Hearts West takes place at Fan Park @ Ice District, downtown Edmonton.

No dress code—dress for comfort, the weather, and for dancing. Festival attire and creativity welcome.

We encourage fans and music lovers of all ages to attend.

Kids 12 and under can receive a free General Admission pass ONLY. They must be accompanied by someone who has purchased an event pass.

All guests, including children 12 and under will require a VIP Ticket in order to access the VIP Experience area.

NOTE: Age verification will be required at the gate. A copy of their birth certificate or passport will be accepted as age verification.

Fan Park is located immediately east of Rogers Place between 102 Street and 101 Street, which was the former site of the Baccarat Casino.

Yes, all festival areas are accessible, including restrooms and viewing spaces with the exception of some of the VIP viewing deck.

• Alcohol or outside beverages (except sealed water as above)

• Large backpacks, luggage, or duffel bags

• Cannabis is permitted only in compliance with Alberta law and festival policy.
• You may bring in a small, personal amount (pre-rolled or in a sealed government package). No loose cannabis, large quantities, edibles, or homemade products.
• All cannabis products must be stored in original, sealed, government packaging.
• Vaping/smoking cannabis is allowed ONLY in the designated outdoor area. No smoking/vaping indoors, in general audience, or VIP areas.
• No glass, butane torches, or elaborate smoking devices permitted.
• Selling or sharing cannabis on site is strictly prohibited.
• Illicit substances and all other recreational drugs are strictly banned.

No outside alcohol is allowed. Licensed bars on site serve alcoholic beverages. Government-issued photo ID required to purchase.

Food & Drink:

• Multiple food vendors, including vegetarian/vegan options.
• Full bar service (alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages).
• Free water refill stations.

Payment:

• All vendors accept credit/debit and tap payment. Some accept cash. ATMs on site.

Smoking & Vaping:

• Permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas.

Restrooms:

• Portable restrooms and outdoor VIP washroom trailers.

Medical & security:

• Professional medical staff on site at all times.
• Bag checks and screening at entry. Security present throughout the festival.

 Yes. Indoor and outdoor stages will operate regardless of the weather. Some outdoor areas may be covered but come prepared.

Check the weather forecast—bring a jacket or poncho if rain is possible, sunglasses and sunscreen for the daytime.

No large totems or flagpoles. Small, hand-held signs are permitted (must not block views).
