10 Things You Need To Know About Boots 2015

Top Ten Things You Need to Know for Boots and Hearts 2015

1. New Dates & a New Home!

To better accommodate fans and the demand for camping, Boots and Hearts 2015 will be held at Burl’s Creek, Ontario, just north of Barrie and east of Orillia, from August 6th – 9th.

2. Buy What You Want Now!

Tickets, camping, parking, shower passes, premium experience packages and hotel packages are all going on-sale to the general public on Friday, October 31st at 12 pm EST.  Be sure and purchase everything you need together as all offerings are limited in quantity and are expected to sell out.  Once it’s gone it’s gone.

3. GA Tickets Must Be On-Sale to Buy Everything Else

General Admission tickets are released in allotments at various price points.  Once that price point sells out all other items – camping options, parking, shower passes, etc. are put ON HOLD until the next allotment of tickets is released.  When more GA tickets are released at the next price point, all other items (camping options, parking, shower passes, etc.) will be back ON-SALE.  This ensures that only those purchasing tickets have access to all other options, like camping, and the process is fair to everyone.

4. Premium Experience

Have a Premium Experience from the moment you arrive on site.  It includes an expedited entrance for vehicle processing upon arrival & a dedicated bag check lane into the entertainment areas for the security search, private cash bar in the premium area, best viewing in both the main arena and Front Porch Stage, and much more.  For those staying on-site a gated premium camping space that includes a lounge for all guests, complimentary coffee and fresh fruit in the morning, flushing toilets with running water and free hot showers.

5. A Word on Camping…

In order to be fair to all fans looking to camp, only one campsite can be purchased at a time. GA tent camping sites are 20 x 20, with a recommended 4-6 sharing and up to 8 maximum per site.  Talk to your friends to figure out what type of camping you need, who is buying camping for your group and get it with your tickets.

6. Camp and Come Early!

The Thursday night Kick-Off Party can be enjoyed by anyone camping on the grounds and is a great way to start your Boots and Hearts weekend.   Come early and enjoy the party.

7. Dedicated Drop Off Area

If you are getting dropped off or taking a taxi home, a dedicated drop off/pick up point will be located at the day parking area and you will be able to walk in/out of the entertainment area.  Anyone camping with friends that have already arrived will need to be dropped off. Day parking will not be available until Friday morning and will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 3 am.

8. Only Those With Parking Passes Can Leave Daily

Parking will open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3 am daily. For safety reasons “In and Out” privileges for camping vehicles will not be permitted.   All cars MUST stay parked on their campsite for the duration of the festival. If you leave for any reason your car will not be allowed back onto your campsite. You will be required to either be dropped off or park your vehicle at a dedicated location and walk back to your campsite.

9. Hello RFID Goodbye Print at Home Passes

This year all Boots and Hearts wristbands will use RFID technology.  It means no more print at home passes and faster access at Boots and Hearts as tickets will not have to be scanned and exchanged for wristbands.  Since RFID is directly connected to the purchaser, scalpers can’t sell the same ticket multiple times and you know that your wristband with your RFID chip is one-of-a-kind.  At time of purchase you will receive a confirmation number for your order and 2-3 weeks before festival your RFID bracelet will be delivered to the mailing address you provided.  If you move after you buy your tickets, make sure you update your mailing address so your RFID bracelet can be delivered to you.

10. No Single Day Tickets for 2015

If you are planning to attend Boots and Hearts 2015, you will need to purchase a full event ticket as single day tickets will not be available.
