Are disability camping areas available?

Yes, Boots and Hearts 2013 will feature a designated accessible camping area located in the closest proximity to the stage and entertainment area.

Are service animals allowed?

Yes, trained service animals such as guide dogs are allowed. Otherwise, pets are not allowed at Boots and Hearts.

Can I park an RV in the disability camping area?

Yes, the disability camping area will accommodate both Tents and RV camping.

Do I have to wear my wrist band at all times?

Yes, everyone is required to wear a wristband for the duration of the festival. No persons will be allowed to enter any portion of the grounds (parking, camping, entertainment etc.) without a wristband. This policy will be strictly enforced – trespassers will be evicted and/or prosecuted.

When can I start camping on-site?

You can start camping on Wednesday July 31st at 3PM and camp through until Monday, August 5 @ 10am.

When can I camp until?

You can start camping on Wednesday, July 31st at 3PM and can stay until Monday, August 5th @ 10am.

What are the camping gate hours?

Wednesday, July 31st 3 PM until Midnight

Can I pick (reserve) a specific camping spot?

No, all camping spots are assigned upon arrival. If you wish to camp in a group with more then one site we recommend that you arrive together as there will be no saving of spots.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, outside alcoholic beverages are permitted but must be consumed within the camping area. There is NO outside alcohol allowed into the Main Arena / Boomtown. PLEASE NOTE: No Kegs, no glass

Will there be shower facilities?

Yes, shower facilities will be available within the camping areas. Additional fees will apply. Shower passes can be purchased through the Boots and Hearts website by selecting the “Add-on’s and Upgrades” option at checkout. Shower bracelets will be available for purchase on-site as well.

Can shower passes be shared?

No, shower passes will be in the form of a bracelet that will allow only the wearer to access the facilities. Altered wristbands will be invalid. DO NOT tamper, stretch, cut or alter your wristband in anyway.

Can I save a camping spot for my friends who are arriving at a later time?

No, camping spots are assigned upon arrival and saving spots will not be allowed. If you wish to camp together on multiple sites please arrive together.

Is there programming on Wednesday July 31st and Thursday August 1st?

No, at this time there is no programming scheduled for Wednesday July 31st or Thursday August 1st. Everyone camping at these times will be restricted to the camping area as the entertainment area and Boom Town will be closed.

Can I camp a tent trailer on a tent site?

No, tent camping sites are strictly for tents only. Tent trailers, will be required to purchased RV camping.

How many people can I camp on one site?

All camping sites will accommodate up to 8 people per site.

Can I have more then 1 tent on my tent site?

Yes, you will be allowed to have more then 1 tent on your site as long as all tents fit within your designated camping area. Tent campsites are approx. 15′x25′ in size.

Can I have a tent on my RV site?

Yes, RV sites are permitted to setup a tent on their site so long as it fits within the designated camping area. RV campsites are approx. 19′x50′ in size.

Can I park a vehicle at my campsite?

Yes, all campsites are permitted to have 1 normal sized vehicle parked on them. Additional vehicles will be required to purchase an “Additional Parking Pass” and park in a satellite lot. Please Note: A normal sized car is defined as anything smaller than a 12 passenger van.

Is the cost of camping per person?

No, campsite prices are per site NOT per person. One site can have up to 8 people.

Is the cost of camping per day?

No, the cost of camping is for the entire event, NOT per day.

What size are the Tent Camping sites?

Tent campsites (GA, Premium and Quiet/Family) are approximately 15’X25’ in size.

What size are the RV camping sites?

RV campsites are approximately 19’X50’ in size

What if my RV is longer then 50’ feet?

If your camping unit (Truck and Trailer/5th Wheel, RV or Motorhome) is longer then 50’ you will be required to purchase 2 RV camping sites.

If we are camping in a group do will all need to arrive together?

No, if you are camping in a group on 1 site you are not required to arrive together.

Do I have to have a full event pass to camp?

Yes, all campers are required to have a full event pass.

Can day ticket holders camp?

No, camping is restricted to full event ticket holders only.

I am tent camping and my friends are RV camping. Can I visit their site?

Yes, so long as you have a full event bracelet you will be able to access all of the camping areas.

What size vehicle is permitted on the campsite?

Only light weight passenger vehicles (smaller then a 15 passenger van) will be permitted in the camping areas. Pickup Trucks and SUV’s will be permitted.

Can I park my pickup truck or SUV at my campsite?

Yes, each site will accommodate 1 vehicle and a Pickup or SUV will be permitted.

Can we bring glass beer bottles to your campsite?

No, Boots and Hearts has a strict no glass policy. Please do not bring glass bottles of any kind.

Can I bring my pet?

No, animals will not be allowed at Boots and Hearts. Please note that entry will be denied if pets are present.

Are fireworks permitted?

Fireworks or any type of explosive are prohibited.

Can I bring my Bike to the event?

Yes, Bicycles will be permitted in the camping areas only.

Can I bring a keg?

No, please no kegs. Thank you.

Can I bring a generator?

Yes, Portable generators of 3KW or less will be permitted. PLEASE NOTE: Generators are subject to noise curfew and must be shut off between 1:00AM and 7:00AM.

Is there an on-site gas vendor?

No, please be sure to fill your tank before arriving. If you have a generator you will be permitted to bring not more than 40L of additional gas on-site.

Where is GA Tent camping located?

GA Tent camping will be located East of the main gate entrance (Gate #1) at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Where is GA RV camping located?

GA RV camping will be located at the Main Gate (Gate #1) near the oval track.

Where is premium tent camping?

Premium tent camping will be located behind the stage in the “Highlands” area. This is the closest tent camping option.

Where is quiet and family camping located?

Quiet/Family camping will be located in the “Highlands” area, behind the main stage.

Is there a quiet camping option?

Yes, quiet/family camping will be available.

Where is Hydro RV camping located?

Hydro RV will be located on the hill above pit row, located behind the Main Stage area.

What is considered an RV?

An RV is any vehicle bigger than a 12-passenger van. This includes traditional RV’s, motorhomes, campers, tent trailers, buses and the like. This would not include a normal passenger sized car, truck or anything smaller than a 12-passenger van.

Can my friends park their car at my RV campsite?

RV campsites can accommodate only (1) standard sized vehicle in addition to your RV unit. Any additional vehicles must purchase an ‘Additional Car Pass’ and will be parked in a remote lot for the weekend.

Can I purchase an RV camping space if I do not have an RV?

No, RV Camping are only for those defined as an RV.

Can a group park their RV’s together?

Yes, as long as each RV has its own RV Camping pass and the group is arriving together. Camping is assigned on a first come, first serve bases and holding spots / spaces is prohibited.

Can I purchase more then 1 Additional Car pass?

No. Due to space restrictions only one vehicle can be parked at the campsite and one additional vehicle in the satellite lot. We recommend car-pooling as much as possible.

Are Dumping Stations and Water available for RV’s?

No. You will need to have your fresh water tanks full and your grey/black holding tanks empty prior to arriving to the festival.

Are there Hydro Camping site?

Yes, hydro camping sites are available for RV camping only.

Are disability camping areas available?

Yes, Boots and Hearts 2013 will feature a designated accessible camping area located in the closest proximity to the stage and entertainment area.

Can I move my RV in and out of the festival?

No. All RV’s are to remain parked at the campsite for the duration of the festival. Once you leave in your RV, you have official vacated the festival and your spot is considered forfeited.

Can I take my car/truck/suv in and out during the festival?

Yes, you will be permitted to drive your vehicle on and off of the venue during the festival from Friday – Sunday. PLEASE NOTE: Make sure to check gate open/close times.

Is there on-site security?

Yes, Boots and Hearts will have on-site security for the camping and entertainment areas. Additionally, the Durham Police will also be on-site.

How old to you have to be to camp?

Camping is open to all ages, but you must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a camping site.

Are campfires allowed?

No, camp fires and/or open flames will not be permitted.

Can I bring a BBQ?

Yes, BBQ’s will be allowed, but be prepared to share with your neighbors who forgot to bring theirs!

Will I have access to the campgrounds if I am not camping?

No, the campgrounds are open to only those who camp during the festival. Consider camping, it’s part of the festival experience!  Just a reminder, day ticket holders will not be permitted to camp at the festival.

Can I setup a large pavilion tent?

No, pavilion tents will not be allowed.

Is camping included in the price of admission?

No, camping is an additional cost above the event ticket.

I won tickets, can I upgrade them?

Yes, once you have received your ticket confirmation email, you will be able to upgrade your ticket or camping by calling Elevate Tickets at 877-886-3314

Where will the shower units be located?

Shower units will be located throughout the camping grounds in the individual camping areas.

If I purchase a camp site but arrive late will I loose my spot?

No, if you purchase a camping site prior to arrival it will still be available to you even if you show up late.

Can I park an RV in the disability camping area?

Yes, the disability camping area will accommodate both Tents and RV camping.

Is there a minimum ticket requirement to camp?

Yes, you will need a minimum of 2 GA tickets to purchase 1 camp site.

How much is GA tent camping?

GA tent camping is $74.99 per site

How much is Premium Tent camping?

Premium Tent camping is $149.99 per site

How much is Quiet & Family camping?

Quiet & Family camping is $149.99 per site

How much is GA RV camping?

How much is a shower pass?

A 3-day shower pass is $24.99

Can I purchase tickets from people selling them on Kijiji or Craigslist?

No, DO NOT purchase tickets or wristbands from 3rd parties – only purchase through Boots and Hearts Music Festival or Elevate Tickets. Counterfeit wristbands will NOT be honored and Boots and Hearts Music Festival will not be responsible for the promotion or sale of counterfeit wristbands.

Does my truck pulling my trailer count as my one vehicle on my campsite?

Yes, if you have an RV pulled by a vehicle that vehicle will be your one vehicle allowed on your campsite. If you have additional vehicles that you want to park you will need to purchase an ‘Additional Car Pass’

How many days can I camp for?

If you want to, you can camp for 5 days! You can begin camping Wednesday, July 31 @ 3pm and can camp through until Monday, August 5 @ 10am.

Boots and Hearts 2013 runs over 3 days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and takes place August 2-4 2013.

Who plays on what day?

The lineup schedule for Boots and Hearts 2013 will be released in the spring of 2013.

Where is Boots and Hearts held?

Boots and Hearts takes place at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville Ontario.

What are the hours of operation for Boots and Hearts?

Boots and Hearts is a 3-day camping, country music festival. The Main Gates to the arena & “BOOM TOWN” area will be open from 11am – 2am. Camping areas will be accessible 24/7 with camping pass.

What time do the bands end?

Main Stage artists will generally end around 11:00 pm. There will also be additional programing and various forms of entertainment occurring throughout the day. If you are a night owl, make sure you check out the special Late Night entertainment options occurring Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Can I enter and leave the show as I please?

Yes. Total Event passes allow free access around the entertainment areas and venue. Day Ticket holders will only receive access to the grounds for the day they purchased tickets for.

When will day pass tickets be available?

Single day event tickets will be available once the artist schedule has been released in Spring 2013. Please note that these tickets are in limited quantities.

How many days can I camp for?

If you want to, you can camp for 5 days! You can begin camping Wednesday, July 31 @ 3pm and can camp through until Monday, August 5 @ 10am.

Who are the artists for Boots and Hearts 2013?

Boots and Hearts 2013 will feature Jason Aldean with his only Ontario date for 2013, along with Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Dean Brody and many more.

Who are previous Boots and Hearts artists?

Boots and Hearts 2012 featured, Tim McGraw, Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, Big and Rich, Alabama, Sheryl Crow, Paul Brandt, High Valley and many more.

Boots and Hearts follows all local laws, to purchase alcohol you must be 19 years of age or older.

What are the campsites and property like?

Canadian Tire Motor Park has recently undergone vast construction to make your camping and festival experience something to be remembered. There are new camping fields, trees, grass and that good outdoor stuff. The camping areas will include washrooms, hand washing stations and potable water. There are showers (for an additional fee.) The venue will also have areas of various stores, vendors, food, beer gardens, ATM’s and the like.

What type of food is offered with the Premium Tower and Lounge and Deck tickets?

The food and drink offered with the $499 tower seating will consist of basic snack foods, non-alcholic drinks (water and pop) as well as access to a cash bar.

Is the Thursday night kick-off party included in my 3-day GA ticket??

Yes, admission to the Thursday night kick off party is included in the cost if you have a 3-day GA Full Event Admission ticket.

Can I share my full event ticket (ie: can I come one day and my friend use it the next day)?

Your wristband is your ticket and must be protected. There will be no replacements for lost, stolen or damaged wristbands. Purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds or exchanges.

Yes, folding beach chairs that do not block the view of others will be permitted in the main arena. We suggest folding bag chairs as they are light, compact and easy to carry.

No, the main arena is primarily for standing with no designated seating area.

Is there on-site security?

Yes, Boots and Hearts will have on-site security for the camping and entertainment areas. Additionally, the Durham Police will also be on-site.

Will there be on-site emergency services?

Yes, Fire, EMS, and Police services will all be available on-site.

How old do you have to be to attend Boots and Hearts?

Boots and Hearts is open to all ages!

How old to you have to be to camp?

Camping is open to all ages, but you must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a camping site.

Are campfires allowed?

No, camp fires and/or open flames will not be permitted.

Can I bring a BBQ?

Yes, BBQ’s will be allowed, but be prepared to share with your neighbors who forgot to bring theirs!

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking will be permitted at your campsite and in designated areas only. Please respect those around you who do not smoke. Thank you.

Can I take Photos if I am a professional photographer?

Is there a drop off location for people who are getting a ride to the event each day?

Yes, drop offs can be made outside of Gate #1. If you are only dropping off please do not drive into Gate #1, just hop out before your driver actually pull in.

Can I pass out flyers around the festival of campsites?

No! Flyering or the distribution of product and/or literature is prohibited inside and/or outside the gates of the festival without written consent from the festival. Boots and Hearts reserves the right to confiscate any unapproved product.

What am I allowed to bring into the Main Arena / Boom Town?

These areas are high security areas and all persons entering will be inspected. This is to ensure the security and safety of everyone attending. While several things will be permitted in this area, we recommend carrying as little as possible to ensure your speedy entry into the areas. Boots and Hearts reserves the right to confiscate unapproved items, or ask for you to store them at your campsite / car / locker. Some quick approved items would include: Sunblock, hats, glasses, chap-stick, cell phones, small digital / disposable cameras, wallets, medium size back-packs, blankets, jackets, low-back beach chairs, and one small / sealed bottle of water.

Can I record the shows?

No. Audio and/or Videotaping of artist performances are NOT allowed at Boots and Hearts. This policy is due to copyright laws and is in place to help protect the artist’s material.

Can I bring my camera into Boom Town and the Main Arena?

Yes. Small digital / disposable cameras, without detachable or additional lenses will be permitted. However, professional cameras are not allowed.

Will chairs be allowed in the Main Arena?

Yes. small folding lawn chairs (bag chairs) will be allowed into the concert venue, however we encourage you to bring blankets instead of chairs. There will be several areas in the Arena that chairs will not be permitted – ensure to review on-site signage and communication from the security personnel.

Can I setup a large pavilion tent?

No, pavilion tents will not be allowed.

Is there cell phone service on-site?

The venue is serviced by cell phone reception although due to expected high call/data volume, service may not be consistent.

How will I receive my tickets?

All tickets purchase through Boots and Hearts or Elevate Tickets will be emailed as Print Pass tickets. The email containing the print pass will be sent out around May 2013.

What time do the bands end?

Main Stage artists will generally end around 11:00 pm. There will also be additional programing and various forms of entertainment occurring throughout the day. If you are a night owl, make sure you check out the special Late Night entertainment options occurring Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Only light weight passenger vehicles (smaller then a 15 passenger van) will be permitted in the camping areas. Pickup Trucks and SUV’s will be permitted.

Yes, each site will accommodate 1 vehicle and a Pickup or SUV will be permitted.

Can my friends park their car at my RV campsite?

RV campsites can accommodate only (1) standard sized vehicle in addition to your RV unit. Any additional vehicles must purchase an ‘Additional Car Pass’ and will be parked in a remote lot for the weekend.

Can I purchase more then 1 Additional Car pass?

No. Due to space restrictions only one vehicle can be parked at the campsite and one additional vehicle in the satellite lot. We recommend car-pooling as much as possible.

Can I move my RV in and out of the festival?

No. All RV’s are to remain parked at the campsite for the duration of the festival. Once you leave in your RV, you have official vacated the festival and your spot is considered forfeited.

Can I drive each day instead of camping on-site?

Yes, if you live close by and want to drive to the event each day you will need to purchase a parking pass. This allows you to park on-site in our day parking lot.

Is there parking close to the action?

Yes, we offer Premium Day Parking passes, which allow you to park as close as possible to all the action.

Yes. Boots and Hearts offers a limited number of day passes for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Day ticket holders will not be allowed to camp onsite and will need to park in Commuter / Day Parking.

Do you offer Payment Plans / EZ PAY?

Will tickets be available for purchase at the front gate?

Do I have to wear my wrist band at all times?

Yes, everyone is required to wear a wristband for the duration of the festival. No persons will be allowed to enter any portion of the grounds (parking, camping, entertainment etc.) without a wristband. This policy will be strictly enforced – trespassers will be evicted and/or prosecuted.

What happens if I misplace or break my wristband?


Your wristband is your ticket and must be protected. There will be no replacements for lost, stolen or damaged wristbands. Purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds or exchanges.

Can I come and go as I please?

Yes, you may come and go as you please with your all event wristband/ticket.  If you purchased a day ticket, you will only gain access to the grounds for the specific day you purchased.

Does Boots and Hearts offer Payment Plans?

Yes, Boots and Hearts has a EZ-Pay option. After you have selected your items, placed them in the shopping cart and are about to check-out, make sure to select the EZ-Pay option!  Instead of paying the full amount up-front, make your first payment today and pay the remaining balance on a monthly basis (payments are made automatically on the same day of each month). Upon receiving your final payment, Boots and Hearts will e-mail your tickets to the address you provided in your profile.

Why is there a $15 service fee?

At Boots and Hearts we believe in creating the best value for our fans as well as being transparent in all pricing issues.  Many companies will build a service fee into the overall cost of the ticket or add on a surcharge for processing that exceeds $15.   We wanted to ensure that we could keep both ticket prices and services fees affordable for our fan as well as be transparent to ensure our fans know exactly what they are paying for along the way.  The $15 service fee covers the operational costs of our ticketing agent, our merchant account (bank) processing costs, as well as supporting our designated charity partners with a $3 donation for every ticket sold.

Boots and Hearts takes place at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville Ontario.

How old do I have to be to purchase alcohol on-site?

Boots and Hearts follows all local laws, to purchase alcohol you must be 19 years of age or older.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, outside alcoholic beverages are permitted but must be consumed within the camping area. There is NO outside alcohol allowed into the Main Arena / Boomtown. PLEASE NOTE: No Kegs, no glass

Will beer be available for sale on-site?

Yes, you will be able to purchase beer and spirits in the Boomtown / Main Arena from the designated Beer tents.

Will there be Food Vendors on-site?

Will there be shower facilities?

Yes, you will be permitted to drive your vehicle on and off of the venue during the festival from Friday – Sunday. PLEASE NOTE: Make sure to check gate open/close times.

Are chairs allowed in the Entertainment area / Main Arena?

Yes, folding beach chairs that do not block the view of others will be permitted in the main arena. We suggest folding bag chairs as they are light, compact and easy to carry.

Is there a designated seating area within the main arena?

No, the main arena is primarily for standing with no designated seating area.

Is there on-site security?

Yes, Boots and Hearts will have on-site security for the camping and entertainment areas. Additionally, the Durham Police will also be on-site.

Will there be on-site emergency services?

Yes, Fire, EMS, and Police services will all be available on-site.

Are campfires allowed?

No, camp fires and/or open flames will not be permitted.

Will I have access to the campgrounds if I am not camping?

Is there a drop off location for people who are getting a ride to the event each day?

Yes, drop offs can be made outside of Gate #1. If you are only dropping off please do not drive into Gate #1, just hop out before your driver actually pull in.

Can I pass out flyers around the festival of campsites?

No! Flyering or the distribution of product and/or literature is prohibited inside and/or outside the gates of the festival without written consent from the festival. Boots and Hearts reserves the right to confiscate any unapproved product.

What am I allowed to bring into the Main Arena / Boom Town?

These areas are high security areas and all persons entering will be inspected. This is to ensure the security and safety of everyone attending. While several things will be permitted in this area, we recommend carrying as little as possible to ensure your speedy entry into the areas. Boots and Hearts reserves the right to confiscate unapproved items, or ask for you to store them at your campsite / car / locker. Some quick approved items would include: Sunblock, hats, glasses, chap-stick, cell phones, small digital / disposable cameras, wallets, medium size back-packs, blankets, jackets, low-back beach chairs, and one small / sealed bottle of water.

Can I record the shows?

No. Audio and/or Videotaping of artist performances are NOT allowed at Boots and Hearts. This policy is due to copyright laws and is in place to help protect the artist’s material.

Can I bring my camera into Boom Town and the Main Arena?

Yes. Small digital / disposable cameras, without detachable or additional lenses will be permitted. However, professional cameras are not allowed.

Will chairs be allowed in the Main Arena?

Yes. small folding lawn chairs (bag chairs) will be allowed into the concert venue, however we encourage you to bring blankets instead of chairs. There will be several areas in the Arena that chairs will not be permitted – ensure to review on-site signage and communication from the security personnel.

Can I setup a large pavilion tent?

No, pavilion tents will not be allowed.

Is there cell phone service on-site?

The venue is serviced by cell phone reception although due to expected high call/data volume, service may not be consistent.

Are service animals allowed?

Yes, trained service animals such as guide dogs are allowed. Otherwise, pets are not allowed at Boots and Hearts.

What are the campsites and property like?

Canadian Tire Motor Park has recently undergone vast construction to make your camping and festival experience something to be remembered. There are new camping fields, trees, grass and that good outdoor stuff. The camping areas will include washrooms, hand washing stations and potable water. There are showers (for an additional fee.) The venue will also have areas of various stores, vendors, food, beer gardens, ATM’s and the like.

Can you bring umbrellas?

You can use umbrellas in your campsites, however you will not be permitted to have umbrellas in Boomtown and the Main Arena. If there is rain we suggest bringing ponchos.
