Press

Thank you for your interest in the Boots and Hearts Music Festival.  If you are a journalist looking for more information on the festival, accreditation to cover the event, artist assets or previous press releases, you can find everything you need right here.

If you have any questions you can contact our media relations team at press@bootsandhearts.com

Press Access

If you are a journalist interested in covering the Boots and Hearts Music Festival, you will need to apply for media accreditation.  Once approved, media passes will provide you with General Admission access to Boots and Hearts and you will receive a full information package from our media relations team.  Please note that Media Passes do not provide you with access to any photo pits as these spaces are reserved specifically for photojournalists and a special pass is required for access. All passes may be subject to artist approval.

Accreditation

Only working media representing accredited media companies will be considered. All media must submit the proper accreditation form and all required accompanying materials to be considered for accreditation.

If you are being accompanied by a photographer or videographer, or other colleague, we must receive an individual application for each member of your team.  Anyone seeking photography credentials must specify on the application as these can not be issued on-site.

Other required materials include:

  • A letter (on company letterhead) outlining the role of the journalist at this event. The letter must be signed by a supervising manager
  • Photocopy of media pass/credentials

Late requests will only be considered at the discretion of the festival and must be received in writing to press@bootsandhearts.com.

Accreditation application will open June 6, 2014 and close July 7, 2014.

If you would like to be notified when the official application is online, please fill out the form below.

Important

Boots and Hearts Music Festival reserves the right to withdraw accreditation of journalists from media organizations who abuse the privileges so extended, or put the accreditation to improper use, or act in a way that is not consistent with the principles of professionalism of their employers or the Boots and Hearts Music Festival.

On-Site Media Relations Support

Our media relations team will be on-site and available throughout the festival to answer questions, facilitate pre-scheduled interviews and provide briefings as necessary.  More information will be available in your information package once you receive your accreditation.

Interviews

If you are a member of the media would like to request an interview in advance of the festival with a Boots and Hearts representative or an artist appearing at the event, please email us at press@bootsandhearts.com.

Any requests for on-site interviews must be included on your accreditation application form.

Audio, Video and Photography

Only those accredited as photojournalists or videographers will receive permission to bring professional cameras into the entertainment area.  Access to the photo pits will only be granted to those properly accredited and at the appointed time.

Please note that Media Passes do not provide you with access to any photo pits as these spaces are reserved specifically for photojournalists and videographers and a special pass is required for access.  All passes may be subject to artist approval.

Boots and Hearts still photography policy is to allow pit photography for the first three songs, no flash, no long lenses and the pit must be cleared at the close of the third song.  However, many performers set their own policy, some by contract, as well as require their own approval process and this supersedes any that Boots and Hearts Music Festival may set.

Please be advised that should you receive photography accreditation you will be asked upon your arrival on-site to submit a signed copy of our Photo Agreement, which will be included in your information package once you receive your accreditation.
